NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Programme Internship application

The NIHR ICAP internship is designed to support clinicians (nurses, allied health and non-medical healthcare professionals) to develop research skills in preparation for PhD. The course provides 6 days of tailored education plus a weeklong M level course providing an introduction to research methods in health care.

This course, supervision and additional learning is aimed to prepare students for Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship (PCAF) applications or clinical doctoral research fellowship (CDRF) applications. Internships are short duration awards for individuals with little or no research experience.
