Biography
Brady is originally from Nottinghamshire, and graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2016. Whilst studying, he worked on productions such as Kiss Me, Kate, Legally Blonde, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, the 3rd Year Musical Theatre Showcase and Bernarda Alba.

Brady is the very proud founder and musical director/conductor of the Northern Musical Theatre Orchestra; an amateur orchestra based in Nottinghamshire, dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of great musical theatre. Brady’s credits as conductor and producer with NMTO include: From Broadway, With Love (2017), Silver, White Winters: The Classics of Rodgers & Hammerstein (2018) NMTO in Concert (2019), Live from London (2021), South Pacific in Concert (Jul 2022), Musicals from the Movies (Dec 2022), Guys and Dolls in Concert (Jul 2023), An Evening with NMTO (Dec 2023) Encore! Belgium and UK (2024), All That Jazz (Dec 2024), Oklahoma! in Concert (Jul 2025), and over 25 private play-throughs of classic musical theatre scores.
Brady is also Artistic Director of the Majestic Theatre Retford, leading its creative vision and programming. He directs and produces in-house shows, curates a diverse calendar of events, and works with volunteers and partners to keep the Majestic a thriving cultural hub. His leadership has strengthened community engagement, grown audiences, and secured vital funding for the theatre’s future.
Brady served as Head of Music at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, for four years, and is now a Lecturer in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting, one of the UK’s leading drama schools. Brady recently directed his first Cast Album: a full recording of the restored Grab Me A Gondola, with colleagues and students at GSA.
