About

Biography

Dr. Fangfang Shi is a Professor of Tourism Management and serves as Associate Dean of the Surrey International Institute (SII) at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE). Prior to joining SII in 2008, she held a position at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, UK.

Her research focuses on consumer behavior, corporate social responsibility, and destination marketing and development. Her work has been published in top-tier journals including Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.

Dr. Shi has led one National Social Science Fund project and more than 20 provincial/ministerial-level research projects. She has also provided consulting services and training programs for prominent tourism destinations and organizations. Currently, she serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Tourism Critiques: Practice and Theory, and Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights.
