About
My research project
Machine learning approaches for genomic host association in SalmonellaMy research focuses on using statistical and machine learning methods to better identify the source of Salmonella Typhimurium. I specifically focus on improving the trustworthiness and transparency of these methods, so as to enable their use in routine surveillance and outbreak environments.

ResearchResearch interests
My research focuses on using statistical and machine learning methods to better identify the source and spread of bacterial pathogens. I am particularly interested in developing novel algorithms and software to be applied to epidemiological problems involving microbial pathogens.
