About
My research project
Digital transformation and performance in the hotel industryMy PhD project examines how digital technology, in particular self-service technology, changes hotel operations and the guest experience. As hotels increasingly adopt self-service options alongside or in place of the front desk, the project assesses how these technologies affect hotel performance and how guests respond to them. The project draws on tourism economics and broader economic theory, and applies quantitative methods to large-scale hotel data.
