Dr Gianni Vesuviano
Hydrological Modeller, UKCEH
Biography
- Gianni Vesuviano works in the Flood Estimation Handbook team at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, focusing on methods and data for flood and rainfall frequency estimation. He led development of the UK standard FEH22 rainfall model and is currently leading updates to the FEH statistical method for flood frequency estimation and developing the open access UKCEH Flood Event Data Suite. Gianni is also a co-creator of ANaRM, a freely available hydrological model designed to allow rapid comparisons of the different runoff mitigation effects that can be achieved through different land-use change scenarios.
