International alumni discount for Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS
If you are a fully self-funded international student who has studied for an undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey campus in Guildford, you may be eligible for a 20% discount on the first year of fees for the Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS programme.
About
This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible candidates. The discount of 20% only applies to the first year of the Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS programme.
Please note that subsequent fees will be charged at the full amount, including an annual rise of 4%.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
- Be an overseas fee paying student
- Have completed their undergraduate programme at the University of Surrey
- Hold an offer to study the full-time Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS course
- Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship).
Students are eligible on receipt of evidence of the award from Surrey and where we can identify that you studied in Guildford.
Associated institution students are not eligible.
How to apply
The University will identify eligible students, so there is no application form for this scheme.
How you will receive the discount
For eligible students, you must have firmly accepted your offer and enrolled on the course. If you pay any tuition fees in advance, then the twenty per cent discount (based on the full fee amount for the current year) is deducted from the remaining balance.
This means the tuition fee invoice, which will be emailed to your university email account sometime during October/November will reflect the actual balance due.
