Surrey Excellence Award

The Surrey Excellence Award is awarded to new UK undergraduate students who have achieved outstanding academic results before joining the University of Surrey.

The award includes:

  1. Membership of the Surrey Sports Park – in recognition of the vital role that participation in sport plays in wellbeing and university life
  2. Access to a leadership programme that includes:
    1. Additional careers and employability advice
    2. Talks on topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and deep space exploration
    3. An invitation to be a student ambassador for the University.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible you must be:

  • An undergraduate student
  • Studying a full-time level 4 course
  • Starting in September 2026.

How to apply

You do not need to make an application. The University will identify eligible students.
