Women in leadership scholarship: Surrey MBA 2022 entry

At Surrey Business School we believe in breaking down barriers to inspire positive change. We want to support and develop women with the ability and talent to become future leaders.


Our Women in Leadership scholarship which is open to female candidates who can demonstrate their contribution to business and a drive to support other female candidates in the future. The scholarship is open to candidates joining either the Full-time or Executive MBA course.

This is a partial scholarship that covers 10 – 50% of the tuition fee. They are awarded on a rolling basis. Candidates who apply early in the admissions round may therefore have a greater chance of receiving an award.

We do not charge for applications to the scholarship or the programme.

Application deadlines:

  • 19 September 2022 - Full-time MBA
  • 1 November 2022 - Executive MBA.

Eligibility criteria

In order to be eligible:

  • You must hold a lower second-class degree or equivalent, alternatives may be considered, see entry criteria for more information.
  • You must be a UK, EU or Internationanl student
  • You must be self-funded, or receiving a partial sponsorship or loan
  • You must be studying full or part time
  • You must be studying Full Time MBA or Executive MBA
  • EU and overseas' students must comply with the English language requirements (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall grade with 6.0 in each element or equivalent).

How to apply

In order to apply for the Women in Leadership Scholarship all applicants need to complete a programme application for one of our MBA programmes and under go an informal interview. For application enquiries, please contact MBA@surrey.ac.uk
