Undergraduate

We do not accept the Nepal HSC Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) completed in +2 level for direct undergraduate entry into the University of Surrey. 

Undergraduate pathway programmes

If you do not meet the direct entry requirements for a course, you can apply to study an International Foundation Year programme at the University of Surrey International Study Centre. Upon successful completion, you can progress to an undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey.

Postgraduate

For programmes that require a 2:1, we need a bachelor’s degree with 65% overall from Tribhuvan University or 70% overall from any other recognised university in Nepal. 

For programmes that require a 2:2, we need a bachelor’s degree with 60% overall from Tribhuvan University or 65 % overall from any other recognised university in Nepal.

Our network of overseas representatives (often referred to as agents) have been appointed to help assist you with your application to Surrey.

English language requirements and courses

All our students require a good standard of English language to be eligible to study with us. If you don’t meet our requirements, we offer intensive pre-sessional English language courses, designed to take you to the level of English ability and skill required for your studies.
