Educational Neuroscience and Policy Research Centre Launch

Emily and colleagues launch the new Educational Neuroscience and Policy Research Centre (ENPRC), which aims to help strengthen the connection between scientific research and education.

The Educational Neuroscience and Policy Research Centre (ENPRC) is a new Centre funded by the UK Department for Education, and is a partnership across multiple UK Universities, led by UCL and Birkbeck. Emily is involved in the ENPRC as a Strand lead for Workforce development.

The ENPRC aims to strengthen the connection between scientific research and education, using evidence about educational neuroscience / the science of learning to inform education policy.

Its work will consider learning and development from birth to age 25, with the goal of improving learning outcomes while supporting the wellbeing of children and young people.

Through collaboration across disciplines, the ENPRC will seek to ensure that emerging research can be translated into meaningful insights for policymakers, educators and classroom practice.

Further information about the Centre and its work is available at  https://enprc.org.uk/
