Emily’s presentation at the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences

Prof. Farran presented her research on "The value of Spatial Reasoning for Mathematics" to the Education workstream of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences, hosted by Anthony Tomei CBE. There is a robust evidence-base that teaching children to think and work spatially has broad benefits for maths. This evidence-base is gathering strong momentum in policy.
