Professor Bonnie Buchanan joins Bank of England-FCA consortium
Professor Bonnie Buchanan, Director of the Sustainable and Explainable FinTech Center, has been selected to serve as a member of the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) new Artificial Intelligence Consortium.
The consortium's purpose is to provide a platform for public-private engagement to gather input from stakeholders on the capabilities, development, deployment and use of AI in UK financial services. Members are selected from industry, banking, academia and the London Stock Exchange.
Professor Buchanan said: “I am delighted by the opportunity to serve on the AI Consortium and welcome the opportunity to engage with issues around risks and challenges that face the financial services industry”.
