Watch Professor Amelia Hadfield’s visit to SII-DUFE

Professor Amelia Hadfield visited the Surrey International Institute at Donbei University of Finance and Economics (SII-DUFE) recently, meeting up with staff and students alike.

In this video, Professor Hadfield talks about the long-standing and close partnership between the University of Surrey and DUFE, working together to teach undergraduate degrees which benefit from the high-quality research of each institution, making SII-DUFE graduates highly employable.

The University of Surrey is 33rd in the UK for overall research quality, with several of our disciplines ranked in the top 10 for impact, outputs and research power (Research Excellence Framework 2021). We are also 15th in the UK for overall student satisfaction (National Student Survey 2025).

DUFE has consistently ranked among the top 5-10 per cent in academic rankings nationwide. The amount of the University’s first-level disciplines in the A-class category has secured DUFE’s rank in the first tier group among all universities of economics and finance. We also lead Liaoning universities together with the other prominent universities.
