About
I am a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Projects Coordinator in the School of Psychology. In this role, I chair the Service Users and Carers (SUG) advisory group and facilitate and support PPIE across the PsychD programme, including within teaching and research.
Alongside my role at Surrey, I am a Doctoral Researcher in the School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sussex. My doctoral research explores primary school pupils’ perceptions and experiences of mental health education, using qualitative methods to centre children’s voices and inform educational practice.
I have experience working on a range of interdisciplinary research projects, including ESRC- and MRC-funded studies, and regularly undertake freelance PPI work with NHS and third-sector organisations. I have a particular interest in inclusive, ethical, and meaningful approaches to involvement across the research and education lifecycle.
