About
Biography
Heather graduated from the RVC in 2012 and spent nine years in small animal practice. In 2021, following Covid, she joined the Veterinary Clinical Teaching Fellow team at Surrey on a fixed-term basis, supporting the rescheduled IMR placements while completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Education at the RVC.
She joined CVS in February 2022 in the newly created role of New Graduate Pastoral Support Vet. Heather still works in this role part-time, supporting graduates as they transition into practice and working with colleagues across the business to strengthen the experience of both graduates and VetGDP Advisers within CVS.
Before studying veterinary medicine, Heather completed a degree in Psychology at the University of Exeter and is passionate about pastoral care, mental health, and wellbeing. She is also a trained Mental Health First Aider.
