Rhian Rochford

Rhian obtained a BSc(Hons) in Zoology from Kings College London in 2004 then graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2009 going on to practice in the West Country as a mixed vet. She has been a small animal vet and Preceptor for the last 3 years where she realised her passion for mentoring and teaching vet students with particular interests in mental health support, chronic illness and communication skills.

When not supporting students Rhian can be found on her Somerset smallholding or at agricultural shows with her prize winning Welsh Mountain sheep and British wool blanket brand, promoting all things woolly! You may also see her working cocker spaniel, Gracie, who is enjoying her new working life.
