The Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network supports researchers at the beginning of their academic and innovation careers, providing opportunities to connect, develop skills, and engage with industry. Through events, training and collaboration, the network aims to foster impactful research and build lasting professional relationships. Find out about our opportunities below.
Flexible Mobility Awards
These grants are to provide short term support for mobility between academia and industry; Early Career Researchers wanting to explore working in industry, or industry staff wanting to gain experience in a public research organisation.

- Up to 9 months

The ECR × STAR Hub Working Group brings together early-career researchers with shared interests in research and innovation. It provides an opportunity to shape STAR Hub activities, contribute to discussions on funding priorities, and build meaningful academic and industry collaborations.
