Useful Information
How are rooms allocated?
Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited availability, an application does not guarantee an offer of a room.
How long can I stay for?
Rooms are available from Thursday, 9 July until Sunday, 19 July 2026. You can book graduation rooms for one to ten nights. First check-in is 2 pm on Thursday, 9 July 2026, and the latest checkout is 12 noon on Sunday, 19 July 2026.
What type of rooms are available?
We offer single ensuite rooms and single standard rooms. Ensuite single rooms have a small private bathroom. Standard single rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Beds will be made up with bed linen, and you will be provided with a towel, but no toiletries or refreshments are provided.
We are unable to offer double rooms for the graduation period.
All rooms are in flats with a communal kitchen. The kitchen may be used if you bring your own utensils.
You can book up to 5 rooms using this form. To book more than 5 rooms, please email accommodation@surrey.ac.uk
You will be allocated with others in a flat and occupants will include both students, friends and family members. Ensuite rooms will be located at Manor Park; we are unable to move any bookings to a different location due to limited availability.
When will I get confirmation of my booking?
We will process applications as soon as possible and send initial room offers by Wednesday, 10 June 2026. After this date, we will aim to respond within three working days of submitting this form.
Can I cancel my graduation room?
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please contact us no later than Monday, 1 July 2026.
How do I pay for my room?
No payment is required upon applying. Once you receive a room offer email, you have either seven days or until the beginning of the booking (whichever is closest) to accept or reject the offer. Should you wish to accept the offer, you will be required to pay in full for your room/s.
The email offer will contain details of the total amount payable, plus a link to the online shop for you to make your payment and to accept the room offer.
If we do not receive a response to the room offer email (such as a rejection or acceptance including payment) within seven days of Accommodation sending the room offer email, then the offer may be withdrawn.
If an offer is made less than seven days before arrival, payment must be made one working day before arrival.
Is there parking?
Parking on campus is free on your Graduation day. In addition, complimentary parking is available from Thursday, 9 July to Sunday, 19 July (inclusive). If you have booked University accommodation, you may also park for free throughout your stay in our permit holder car parks.
If you are parking over the weekend, please use the North Car Park. For all other dates outside the free period, paid parking is available at the University's Pay and Display car park on Stag Hill campus or in the nursery car park near Tesco at Manor Park.
What else do I need to know?
