Cutting UK carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 will be the subject of our next exciting leg of the Adams-Sweeting lecture series. Internationally renowned engineer and climate change expert Professor Dame Julia King, Baroness Brown of Cambridge will set out the absolute necessity and enormous challenges in delivering net zero by the government’s target date.
The second Adams-Sweeting lecture of 2020 is also already booked. On 7 October Professor Dame Linda Partridge, founding director of the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing in Cologne, will deliver a lecture asking, can we cure ageing?
