Winter School
We are happy to announce the commencement of our Winter School program.
Overview
The CIMS Winter School will deliver courses on Macroeconomics of Public Finance, with a focus on inequality, heterogeneous agents model, and optimal taxation. The course will be held online, with the duration of two days.
Programme
Day 1: We introduce the theoretical background of the inequality and Ramsey tax policies, and its applications under heterogeneous agents
Day 2: Courses then move on to address challenges in computation and advanced non-linear Mirrlees taxation.
Instructors:
- Kjetil Storesletten, a Richard and Beverly Fink Professor of Economics at University of Minnesota and a Fellow of Econometric Society
- Hitoshi Tsujiyama, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey.
