The University is home to a range of facilities designed to enable research at the intersection of digital technology and health.

Surrey Sleep Research Centre (SSRC)

SSRC has 12 state-of-the-art individual sleep/intensive physiological monitoring laboratories which have advanced sound attenuation, light and temperature control, and isolation from all external time cues.

5G/6G Innovation Centre

Facilities within 5G/6GIC include an independent testbed for trialling emerging 5G and 6G ideas, proving concepts, validating standards and vendor interoperability testing.

Innovation for Health Learning Laboratory

The Innovation for Health Learning Laboratory includes an electronics laboratory, biology laboratory and human movement laboratory, as well as a central active learning space and computing area.
