Share your experiences with current students - Tuesday 3 May 2016, 7pm

This spring we are working with the Student Law Society to hold an evening of speed-networking for undergraduates and we would be delighted to welcome law alumni who could offer insights into their careers and offer tips and advice.

We are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge to give them the edge in this competitive market, and we are regularly told by our students how much they value hearing from alumni first-hand.  We recognise our alumni are the very best people to share knowledge of where a Surrey degree has taken them and inspire students to succeed and we highly value this support.

As an alumni volunteer at this event, you can help students to understand the challenges they will face in your industry, pass on tips to succeed and inspire them to pursue career paths they may not have otherwise considered.   We would like to represent a broad range of potential career paths – solicitor, barrister, corporate law and HR, civil service and government, for example, and different career stages.

If you feel you can support the student experience in this way and would like to find out more the event, please contact Lucy Evans, Alumni Officer for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, at l.a.evans@surrey.ac.uk or +44 (0) 1483 68 3105.
