Surrey Business School is running a competition to win a number of scholarships for the 2023 Executive MBA programme.

About

For over 30 years, Surrey Business School’s 24-month executive (part-time) MBA course has been at the forefront of business education in the region. To celebrate this and to recognise the impact the Surrey EMBA has had on individuals and their organisations, Surrey Business School is running a competition to win a number of scholarships for the 2023 Executive MBA programme. This offers entrants the chance to win a scholarship with a value up to and including 100% of the programme fees, and two runner-up prizes of 75%.

Eligibility criteria

Our EMBA is designed for professionals living and working in the UK. The competition is open to anyone who meets the entry requirements to the Executive MBA.

How to apply

Entry into the competition has two steps to the process:

  1. Entrants should apply to the EMBA programme by following the standard application process
  2. Entrants to the competition are also required to submit a 1,000-word discussion essay on one of the following subjects to mba@surrey.ac.uk:
  • Glass ceilings in the workplace – gender and representation challenges for 21st-century business.

Or

  • Growth that doesn’t cost the Earth – should companies support national or global sustainability initiatives, even if there are no direct benefits to the business (and why)?

Applications are now open, with a closing date of Saturday 17 June 2023. Winners will be contacted in June.

Terms and conditions

One prize of a 100% scholarship and two prizes of 75% scholarships are on offer for students to join the Executive MBA programme at Surrey Business School starting in October 2023. No alternative prize is available and prizes are not transferable. Each entrant may only submit one entry. Applicants are only eligible to receive one scholarship award offered by the University of Surrey. The competition is available to UK residents only and winners must be able to commute to East Horsley, Surrey. You will need to satisfy the programme standard entry requirements – a 2:2 (or higher) degree and five years management experience or substantial management and work experience (see for full details please see the MBA course page). A panel of judges will decide the winner and their decision is final. Those shortlisted will be required to attend an interview online as part of the standard application process. Winners will be notified by email within three weeks of the closing date and must respond within seven days of notification to claim the scholarship.

By entering the competition you consent to your name and photo being used for publicity purposes in the event you are awarded a scholarship.
