Connections across the world

With a global alumni community of over 117,000 graduates across 175 countries, we are delighted to be working with alumni volunteers to develop a range of new clubs to increase networking opportunities and connections for Surrey alums around the world.

Leading the way this month are our established alumni communities in Hong Kong and Korea. Hong Kong Alumni Club held its fourth social event on 12 April with a guest presentation from Edward Chu (Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Class of 1994), and in Korea this month alumni came together with the Vice-Chancellor for a sociable reunion evening at Seoul Restaurant ‘Bubble and Cockles’, owned by alumnus Sijoon Choi (International Hospitality Management, Class of 2008).

In China this month we are pleased to name Johnny Jiang (International Business Management, 2009) as official Alumni Representative for Beijing. If you would like to share your ideas with the Beijing team please get in touch and we will connect you!

A recent addition to Surrey’s alumni groups, Dubai Alumni Club will be hosting their second networking and social evening at Lah Lah Bar Zabeel House by Jumeirah, on 2 May.  To find out more or to sign up to attend please register here.
