Future Leaders Fellowships available to Surrey researchers
The Future Leaders Fellowships, a scheme run by UK Research and Innovation, aims to grow the supply of talented individuals who can ensure that UK research and innovation continues to be world class.

The highly competitive scheme will support early career researchers and innovators from universities, UK registered businesses and other research environments. The funding offered will include the fellow's salary and justified research, staff and training costs on a long-term and flexible basis. Seven years of support is available and part-time applications will also be considered. There will be six deadlines over the next three years.
As an institution committed to research excellence, the University of Surrey will be putting forward exceptional candidates for the Fellowships scheme. The University continually conducts research that seeks to answer global questions, drive innovation and deliver real-world impact, and has been awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education four times in acknowledgement of its world-leading research.
The University is keen to encourage high-calibre researchers to contact the anticipated host department to discuss the opportunity and the initial internal selection process.
