School of Psychology opens brand-new facilities
Our facilities have recently undergone a £5 million investment, giving you access to the latest equipment, including a four-room virtual reality suite to simulate real-life scenarios, and two observation laboratories.
Our facilities and equipment have been updated as part of a two-phase major renovation project, giving you a more flexible and interactive working space, so you can get the most out of your time with us.
Our updated facilities include a new virtual reality simulation suite, neuropsychology laboratories and a purpose-built laboratory for studying infants (Baby Lab). There are also two new observation rooms, which can be used for dissertation project work, and 20 bookable student project laboratories, equipped with the tools you need to complete research into everything from eye-tracking to brain stimulation to psychophysiology. Right from the start of your undergraduate course, you'll be trained in a variety of up-to-date data collection techniques, with these labs ensuring you have the best environment to learn in.
We also have an open-plan teaching space, as well as a comfy student breakout area, featuring sofas and seating which are perfect for working in small groups.
