University is a transformative experience, and at Surrey Business School we prepare you for a future career in a job market that can sometimes be turbulent. Employability is built into our curriculum and our courses bring students into contact with business. More and more of our undergraduate students are also choosing to spend a Professional Training placement year with companies that allow them to put their learning into practice. This means Surrey Business School graduates are highly sought after with 95 per cent in work or further education 15 months after graduating (Graduate Outcomes 2023, HESA).

Our BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance course is designed to match the requirements of the UK’s accounting bodies. This allows you to take significant steps towards becoming a qualified accounting and developing the skills that are essential for various business careers. The course also has up to nine exemptions from professional body exams (subject to option choices), significantly more than other programmes.

"My course has been challenging and engaging however when I finish my degree I’ll have eight exemptions from the professional ACA exams, which aids employability." - Emma Cross
