I have an academic background in Statistics (BSc. And MSc.) and my Ph.D. in Data Science. My research interest is in data science and statistical techniques applicable to Biomedical Sciences. I have a keen interest in the applications of interpretable ML and explainable AI techniques to high-dimensional multi-omics data. I have in recent times developed a novel computational splitting strategy and interpretable ML techniques to predict severity in COVID-19 patients based on their whole exome sequencing genomic data and clinical phenotype information.
