About
My research project
Exploring the link between mitochondrial dysfunction and cardiac ArrythmiasMy project explores the mechanistic and functional links between mitochondrial stress signalling and cardiac arrhythmias, with a particular focus on their implications for cardioprotection. This project aims to investigate how mitochondrial stress signalling may influence cardiac ion channel function and contribute to arrhythmogenesis. My research involves cardiac electrophysiology, mitochondrial function assessment, and basic biochemical assays to investigate the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms.
