I'm a Teaching Fellow in Physician Associate Studies and have been a qualified Physician Associate for 8 years. My background is in emergency medicine, general practice, orthopaedics and trauma. As a practicing healthcare professional, I support doctors in the diagnosis and management of patients by taking medical histories, performing examinations and analysing test results.
My goal is to increase national awareness of physician associates and to train the next generation of healthcare professionals, ensuring everything they learn is up-to-date and relevant to an NHS care setting.
I teach on our PGDip Physician Associate Studies course, covering topics including anatomy, clinical skills and communication. I share my expertise and knowledge, to provide an honest insight into the field.
