Dr Zaid Almahmoud

Biography
Zaid Almahmoud is a researcher and software developer with a PhD in applied machine learning, specialising in cybersecurity. He has over a decade of programming experience and has contributed to various research areas, including cyber threat forecasting, technology forecasting, optimisation algorithms in the smart grid, and software frameworks. Throughout his academic career, Zaid has also taught several computer science courses.
Currently, Zaid is working on the AP4L project, focusing on developing adaptive online safety and privacy software.
Zaid's achievements include winning second place in the Gulf Programming Contest (2013) and first place in Khalifa University Programming Contest (2011). He has also published several research papers in top-tier journals, including Nature - Scientific Reports and IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.
