Medicine
At Surrey, we are training doctors of the future. Our innovative four-year course blends hands-on, tech-enabled learning with extensive practical experience out in the field with our partner NHS trusts and primary care providers.
You’ll have access to our state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Centre, where you’ll be immersed in simulated scenarios with interactive manikins and professional actors. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn alongside our student midwives, nurses and paramedics to gain experience of interprofessional work, replicating life out in practice.
In our new Centre for Anatomical and Surgical Education (CASE), you’ll develop your skills in anatomy and surgery with the support of clinical anatomists, radiologists and surgeons. Your learning will also be complemented by cutting-edge technology including virtual reality headsets embedded with 3D anatomy software and insight into surgery through live links to operating theatres.
When you graduate, you’ll be ready to start working as a foundation doctor. And our BMBS degree is recognised internationally, so you can practise in the UK or abroad.
At Surrey, you’ll be part of a warm, welcoming community that will help you to thrive:
