Surrey Misinfo Lab

Welcome to our Lab!

We bring together academics and practitioners to understand misinformation and develop research that makes a difference in the real world. Based at the University of Surrey, our Lab connects people across disciplines, institutions, and countries.

About us

The Surrey Misinfo Lab is a collaborative research community focused on misinformation. We aim to produce scientifically rigorous work that advances understanding and addresses challenges faced by practitioners and the communities they serve.

Connecting research with practice is central to our approach. We create opportunities for academics and practitioners to exchange ideas, develop projects, and produce outputs that are useful to both research and professional practice.

Through these collaborations, we aim to build ambitious research with meaningful, lasting impact.
