Student experience

Wessex One Health (WOH) will provide students with a strong cohort identity, allowing them to develop their crucial networks through their PhD. Our programme development included input from students via focus groups and anonymous surveys combined with insight from our experienced training teams.

Cohort building activities

WOH students will be encouraged to develop a strong cohort identity by participating in:

Welcome event at the start of their PhD, where new students from all partners will come together to make friends and socialise, learn about the programme and meet WOH Committee members.
Annual research celebration, where all WOH students will present their work through poster or oral presentations and network.
