Your decision to study at CAU in China or the University of Surrey in the UK will determine your entry requirements and application process.

Route	To study at the CAU	To study at the University of Surrey
Route one	An average of 70 per cent or higher, with no module failures. IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in Writing, 5.5 in Reading, 5.5 in Speaking, and 5.5 in Listening. Application process

Step 1

Route one	During your sophomore year at CAU, enrol and take an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. Complete your sophomore year at CAU with an average score of 70 per cent in your modules, with no failures. Route two	Complete all 18 English language modules. Complete your sophomore year at CAU with an average score of 70 per cent in your modules, with no failures.	Not applicable

Step 2

Complete an online application form in your second year, as advised by the SII-DUFE Registry Office, nominating where you would like to study your dual-degree programme. You will have four options:

Study options available at SII-DUFE and the University of Surrey
Option	Description
Option one	Study for two years at CAU in China and be taught by University of Surrey staff.
Option two	Study for one year at CAU in China and then one year at the University of Surrey in the UK.
Option three	Study for two years at the University of Surrey in the UK.
Option four	Study for two years at the University of Surrey in the UK and complete a Professional Training placement in between.

Please note, acceptance depends on whether you meet the academic and language requirements to continue into one of the dual-degree programmes at CAU in China or transfer to the University of Surrey.
