Abstract

This session reflects on the achievements and lasting impact of the RECLAIM Network Plus, a UKRI-funded initiative bringing together researchers, practitioners, local authorities and communities to advance green-blue-grey infrastructure (GBGI) solutions for healthier, more resilient towns and cities.

This presentation provides a recap of RECLAIM’s activities, with a particular focus on the practical resources developed through the network, including the Urban Greening “How-To” Toolkit, CPD courses and webinar series. It highlights how these resources translate research into action, supporting decision-making around air pollution, heat and flood mitigation, biodiversity, carbon storage, noise reduction, and health and wellbeing.

The session also reflects on the legacy of RECLAIM as a collaborative knowledge hub and looks ahead to how its tools, learning resources and community can continue to support equitable, evidence-based urban greening beyond the lifetime of the network.
