A celebration of Robert Burns
Join Surrey Humanities Group for an informal evening to celebrate the birth of poet Robert Burns and to enjoy a taste of traditional Scottish fare.
The event takes place on Monday 25 January 2016 on the University campus, 6.30pm for 7pm, and tickets cost £25.
Burns was prolific both poetically and amorously (he is said to have some 600 living descendants), his romantic inclinations being immortalised in some of his finest poems. It is to his legacy as both an immortal Scot and as one of the great European writers that we raise a glass (or two) on Burns Night.
