Funding information:

UKRI standard stipend - £20,780 for 2025/26 academic year.

Discovering quantum materials with superconducting circuits

Funding information:

Annual stipend £21,805. Fees are covered. A research training support grant of £4,305 is provided. 

PhD Nuclear Physics

Funding information:

£21,403 annual stipend and £1,250 annual top-up.

Additional costs

Throughout the duration of your studies it is likely that you will incur additional costs. For example, some of our courses (particularly those with a practical element) may require you to pay for clothing, materials, field courses, special equipment or bench fees.
