How to apply
The application process consists of five stages:

Study abroad partners nominate students to Surrey. Use our interactive search tool to check whether we have a study abroad agreement with your home institution and the subject area and study level(s) included in the agreement. Follow your home institution's application process.
If you are an independent study abroad student, please complete our application form here. You will need to register your details first to access our application portal and the link to our form. Any queries, email ieo.incoming@surrey.ac.uk.
Nomination/expression of interest deadline:
- 1 June for Semester 1 (Autumn)
- 1 October for Semester 2 (Spring).
- Application details sent to prospective study abroad students
- Surrey application deadline:
- 15 June for Semester 1 (Autumn)
- 15 October for Semester 2 (Spring).
- Confirmation of acceptance:
- early-mid July for Semester 1 (Autumn)
- early-mid November for Semester 2 (Spring).
