Digital learning workshops
We provide a variety of professional development workshops for University of Surrey staff to develop their understanding of digital technologies.
In addition to those listed, we offer on-demand workshops tailored to meet the needs of groups of staff from individual faculties.
This workshop is for staff new to building courses on SurreyLearn, the University's virtual learning environment (VLE). It will guide you through the process of building a structure, adding resources and creating online learning materials for your SurreyLearn course.
This workshop will guide you through the design and creation of Panopto-based (online audio-visual) learning activities for your students.
This course is designed for staff who would like to further develop their SurreyLearn course building skills by learning how to create and deploy online tests for the benefit of students.
This hands-on workshop is designed for tutors who would like to make effective and engaging use of audio to help students learn. During the session, you’ll identify and discuss the educational benefits and applications of audio, create a simple voice message for your students that can be uploaded to SurreyLearn, and learn how to record and produce audio-based learning activities using the freely available “Audacity” sound editing tool.
