Surrey’s School of Veterinary Medicine is best in the UK for student satisfaction
With an impressive score of 93.8%, veterinary medicine at Surrey has been ranked 1st in the UK for student satisfaction.
Veterinary medicine at the University of Surrey has been ranked 1st in the UK for overall student satisfaction* in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2026. Results show a satisfaction score of 93.8% which has boosted Surrey from 4th in the UK in 2025 to best in the UK this year.
It comes off the back of being ranked 8th in the UK and top 100 in the world in the QS World University Subject Rankings 2026 and 6th in the UK in the Complete University Guide 2027.
The NSS results have also put the University of Surrey in the top 10 for student satisfaction, jumping from 15th to 7th in the UK, with improved scores in every section of the survey. It also puts Surrey ahead of every Russell Group university.
