What do you like about your course and why?

I really enjoy studying Economics and Finance BSc because it combines theory with practical applications that are relevant to the real world. Being in my third year, I feel I’ve gained a strong understanding of how they connect from financial markets to bigger economic forces that shape them. Since choosing this degree, I have not looked back, and it has been both enjoyable and rewarding.

What do you enjoy most about Surrey?

I enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Surrey and the strong community on campus. There’s always something to get involved in, and the campus itself is a great place to study and spend time with friends.

What do you want to do when you graduate?

After I graduate, I’m planning to study a master’s degree to deepen my knowledge and further my understanding of the financial sector. I aspire to work at the Big Four firms, and I want to start auditing in my early career. I eventually want to build up to a career in mergers and acquisitions, where I can combine financial expertise with strategic decision-making. 

Studying Economics and Finance BSc at Surrey has provided me with a strong foundation and the confidence to take the next step towards achieving my goals.
