Nutrition"I chose to come to Surrey partly because of its league table success but mainly due to its friendly atmosphere and great graduate job statistics.
My advice to applicants would be to find out as much information as is possible before you apply. I went through clearing, and the team at Surrey really helped during that time.
I am passionate about health and fitness as well as lifestyle, so choosing nutrition was a no-brainer for me. I’m looking forward to the practical projects that will introduce more application of theory next year.
The biochemistry staff in particular have been very helpful to me and have made learning chemistry fun which is a major plus in my studies.
I am part of the cricket club and the Christian Union and both have helped me make friends and gain a different view on university. I enjoy meeting new people and therefore the social aspects of these societies are very helpful.
The Sports Park is very useful especially for someone interested in sport like me and I use it often. The social life and the atmosphere make it a great place to be and the helpfulness of everyone has certainly helped me to progress so far."
