Surrey Business School is offering the Help to Grow: Management Course - a government-funded 12-week programme for ambitious SME leaders looking to grow their business, drive innovation, strengthen resilience, and build confidence in their leadership.

Designed for founders, owners, managing directors, and senior decision-makers, the programme combines expert-led learning, peer-to-peer insight, and one-to-one mentoring. Through the application of proven business frameworks to your own organisation, challenges, and opportunities, you’ll develop practical strategies and gain the confidence to make informed decisions and lead your team through growth and change. You’ll leave with a clearer vision, a tailored approach to your business priorities, and the skills to turn ideas into meaningful results.

The UK Government subsidises 90% of the cost – your contribution is just £750 per person.

The format is designed to fit around your business commitments, with sessions running on Wednesday afternoons, combining:

Fees

Participant fee is £750 (the remaining 90% is government subsidised).

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Work in a UK-based SME employing 5–249 people
  • Hold a senior leadership or decision-making role
  • Have at least one direct report
  • Be committed to active participation throughout.
