Centre for Aerodynamics, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering
Welcome to the Centre for Aerodynamics, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering, a hub of cutting-edge research and innovation driving the future of road mobility and flight. Our multidisciplinary team tackles complex challenges in fluid dynamics, propulsion, vehicle control, and sustainable transport technologies. Through advanced simulation, wind tunnel testing, and real-world applications, we collaborate with industry and academia to shape next-generation solutions. Whether exploring hypersonic flows, electric aviation, or autonomous vehicles, our centre is committed to excellence in research, education, and impact. We empower engineers and scientists to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible in air and ground transportation.
Study with us
We offer a PhD course in automotive engineering where you could work on electric and hybrid powertrains, autonomous vehicles, vehicle and tyre dynamics simulation, designing vehicle subsystems, experimental test benches, lightweight chassis design and vehicle aerodynamics to name a few.
