Any questions for us?
Our Guildford location
We offer the best of both worlds – a friendly campus university, set in pretty countryside, with the conveniences and social life of bustling Guildford on your doorstep.
There are more than 100 places to eat and drink, and many clubs, pubs and bars, as well as theatres, galleries, performance spaces, music venues, a cinema, a lido and an ice-skating rink. It's easy to find things to do.
Studying and living on campus makes it easy to make new friends and enjoy student experiences. There are many ways to get involved with sport and arts and culture on campus, plus we have more than 130 societies and 44 sports clubs to join.
Living in student accommodation is a great way to meet new people, spark friendships and find your feet when starting this new chapter of your life. Our accommodation is based on three sites in Guildford and arranged in courts of residence (groups of self-catered housing).
English language support
We offer an English Language Support Programme, which provides tailored English language support to all Surrey students and is particularly valuable to students who speak English as a second or additional language. We provide a wide selection of courses in academic listening, dissertation writing and pronunciation. All students who enrol in writing classes are entitled to one-to-one tutorials with our expert tutors in English for academic purposes.
