School of Health Sciences open day talks and tours
Our School of Health Sciences open day includes an exciting programme of talks and drop-ins where you can learn more about studying nursing, midwifery or paramedic science at Surrey.
We have put together a number of different activities for you to get involved in and help you discover more about our School of Health Sciences.
You can join us on our School of Health Sciences open day talks, discover our brand new Simulation Centre on a guided tour, try hands-on activities in our clinical drop session and meet our Research staff.
Each of the following talks will take place in the Kate Granger building and begin with an introduction to Surrey, the campuses and life here in Guildford, followed by more information about studying nursing, midwifery or paramedic science at Surrey. If you would like to attend any of these talks, you will need to book your seat when you book to attend the open day.

How do I get a ticket?
You will select the time of your subject talk when you book your open day place. Your open day ticket (sent via email) will provide you and one guest entry to your chosen talk. The content of each subject talk is the same, so you only need to attend one.
We will be offering guiding tours of the our brand new Simulation Centre. Tours will depart from Kate Granger Reception area every at the following times:
Tours last approximately 45minutes.
How do I get a ticket?
There is no need to book your tour ticket before the event, but when you arrive on the day please collect tickets in advance from the check-in desks in the Kate Granger Reception area. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. During busy times, only one guest may accompany each prospective student.
If you would prefer to explore this area at your own pace, the Simulation Centre will be open from 2:30pm-4pm, for visitors to take a self-guided tour. No ticket is required for this.
Open between 9am-12pm & 12:30pm-4pm, all visitors are welcome to drop into this Independent Clinical Learning Space and get involved in hands on clinical skills activities and demonstrations.
Open between 11am and 2pm, you will have the chance to see some of the exciting research being undertaken in the School and an opportunity to meet some of our research active staff.
