Biography
Christopher Voisey received his Ph.D. and M.S. Degrees in Management from MIT Sloan, including doctoral studies of strategy at Harvard Business School. His past faculty appointments include as Associate Professor in Strategy at Henley Business School, University of Reading (UK), where he was Program Area Director (Business and Management). He has held faculty roles in business schools in Europe and in the Middle East, and research and teaching positions at UCL, National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, and at MIT Sloan. Christopher is Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, in recognition of his achievements in teaching and learning in higher education. Christopher’s scholarly work on how firms formulate and implement global strategy has been published in the global strategy field’s leading academic journal.
Christopher’s earlier business career includes significant experience within the Corporate Strategies Office at the global headquarters of Fujitsu in Tokyo. Prior to this, he established and managed a European business unit within the Japanese investment bank Nomura International, and was part of a team that established a new European business unit for Salomon Brothers (Citigroup).
