About

I have worked as a Paramedic in emergency care for over 20 years and most recently in advanced practice, both in urgent and primary care settings.

I graduated from Southampton University with a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Practice and have undertaken level 7 study in Diagnostic Assessment and Decision Making. I have a particular interest in working with older adults and in patient-centred care.

I changed career direction from clinical practice to education, working as a lecturer at the University of Cumbria for the past 2 years before joining the University of Surrey.
